You are buying a USA Made 45" solo twin rear fender mounting kit for Harley-Davidson 45" solo models which is detail-correct for 1941 and early 1942 45" solo models, though I’m aware all of this hardware can be used on earlier and later model 45’s.  Includes all pieces shown. Please consult your own parts or service manual for proper reference.

This is detail correct for WLA, WLC, and WL models as the 5/16" bolts are plain head and this uses the truss head type carriage bolt for the rear fender clip.  The 061 1/2" long plain head bolt is known NOS OEM cut in the H-D screw shop back in the 1930s.

Chandler Products CP-1035 bolts first appear in 1942 or early 1943 and could be found on Harleys to 1949.  CP-1038 seems to have first appeared in 1947 or 1948 so a mix of bolt heads on common hardware would be expected in the late 1940's.

We do carry a 1929-1940 detail correct 45" kit as well as an early 1942-1948 CP-1035 kit and 1948-1952 CP-1038 Kit for 45 solos.  Please check our eBay store for many other detail correct kits for your vintage Harley.  No one pays attention to detail like we do for the most accurate hardware kits.

Take your chances from someone who has 100,000+ listings of items they don’t understand or buy with confidence from someone who has owned and restored classic Knuckleheads, Panheads, BT Flatheads, and 45 civilian and military models and will stand behind the products they sell with a no hassle return policy.

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
