You are purchasing one new USA Made wiring harness kit for 1931-1934 Harley-Davidson VL models with the single headlamp. This is everything you need from nose to tail to wire your bike. The tail lamp wire included is for a marker lamp only, it does not include the provision if you have added a stop lamp switch and dual filament lamp to your bike, though we can provide that for extra cost and add it to your order.
This kit is correctly detailed for 1931 to 1934 V models with the fork mount tool box which brought the horn and headlamp further out from the switch box and assumes you are using a Motolamp headlamp. RL models used a longer relay wire, so we sell an RL kit separately. The 1931 DL was entirely different, we also sell a kit for those.
Check the detail on the harness, the ring ends are soldered into place just as originals were. We had these long-obsolete terminals reproduced in 2023 at considerable expense. To the best of our knowledge, we are the only wiring kit manufacturer in the world using these correct ends. Other kits use common crimp terminals or soldered open eyelet terminals with no barrel to support your wire which prevents fractures in the terminals or wires at the terminal which can lead to failure.
This kit utilizes slip on asphalt loom to group the wires. We do sell the same kit with cotton woven loom as original off this site. Email us if this is what you need.
