You are purchasing an approximately 54" roll of copper mesh for 6" & 7"  air cleaner elements for 1936-1966 model Harley Davidson twins.  Basically any bike that used a 6" or 7" round air cleaner with either j-hooks or center screw would have used this.  There is a vented center drum the mesh wraps around.  You oil the mesh with air filter oil or soak it in warm motor oil prior to installing.  You can clean it multiple times.

Can be used on any of the following with a Linkert M-Series carburetor equipped with a 7" J-slot or center screw type air cleaner assembly:
  • 1930-1936 VL
  • 1936-1947 EL & FL Knucklehead
  • 1937-1948 UL flathead
  • 1929-1952 D, DL, W, WL, Servicar 45"
  • 1948-1966 EL, FL, FLH Panhead, Shovelhead
  • 1932-1973 Servicar
  • 1952-1966 K Model & Sportster
