You are purchasing one European Made reproduction air intake shaft or choke shaft lever for 1", & 1 1/4" side valve or flathead Linkert carburetors used from 1933 to 1948. This is for use when an air cleaner is not in use either as an open carb or with an air horn or bird catcher. These can be a pretty hard part to find these days. This comes with a parkerized 1234-24 special screw to mount this on your choke shaft. We sell choke shafts and disks on other listings as well as a host of other Schebler and Linkert parts.
These would have been used on RL, VL, UL, WL, and Servicar models. These may have been used on stock Linkert-equipped Indians, but I am not certain. They can be used on an Indian and can be used on a 1 1/2" Linkert on a big twin if you want to get rid of the choke lever and linkage set up those came stock with but you must replace the choke shaft with a flathead choke shaft in that case.

- 1933-1958 R, G, GD, GDT, GE 45" Servicar 45"
- 1937-1948 U, UL, ULH, UH, US, USA, UA, ULA 74" & 80"
- 1937-1952 W, WL, WLD, WLA, WLC 45" solo
