You are purchasing one pair of very nice reproduction Guide S-H2 spot lamps as used on Harley-Davidson springer models from 1938-1957. These will fit 1936 & 1937 models, but this style of spot light was not introduced until 1938. The detail on these is really amazing including the accurate shape of the toggle switches, buckets, bezels, lenses, and stanchions. Far as I know, all the parts will interchange with original Guide spot lamps. The only readily apparent detail I see which differs from original is the door or bezel screws are Phillips instead of straight slot screws. We do have the correct straight slot screws and can include those, just leave us a note upon ordering.
Bulbs are single filament 6V and just as original are NOT sealed beams. You can purchase 12V bulbs for these in our store, if you cannot find them, just email us.
This purchase includes a complete "late" style mounting hardware kit. I am not certain at what point they changed to this style mount, we also sell these with the early style mounting hardware and with fork mount bars on other listings. These have the focus screws in the back as original and have "GUIDE S-H2" stamped on the stanchions and "Guide Made In USA" stamped underneath the shell. This is by far the best reproduction we have seen of these.
We also sell these in kits with mounting hardware and mounting cross-bars. We can also customize with early or late mounting hardware and we have different mounting cross bars.
There may be minor details an AMCA judge could pick out, but I am not certain what those would be.
These can also be used with 1949-1961 Hydra-Glide front ends but the correct spot lamps had shorter stanchions for those models.
