You are purchasing one 1"-24 neck stem die or thread cutter for Knucklehead, UL WL, Servicar, Panhead, & Shovelhead models. Used to clean out or repair threads on your big twin neck stem. Made in the UK from fine tool steel and comes with a protective case. We have the 7/8"-24 for 45 and Sportster models on another listing.
We offer thread repair kits, and additional taps and dies for the special threads that H-D used over the years. We have taps for cylinder heads, cam covers and lifters, main shafts, grease zerks, Linkert carbs and other uses.
The following models would use this tool:
- 1936-1947 E, EL, F, FL, ELA, ELC, etc. 61" & 74" OHV Knucklehead
- 1937-1948 U, UL, ULH, UH, etc. 74" & 80" big twin flathead
- 1948-1965 EL, FL, FLE, FLH 61" & 74" OHV Panhead
- 1966-1984 FL, FLH 74" OHV Shovelhead Electra-Glide
- 1971-1984 FX Super-Glide 74" OHV (Check your own references, not sure if it's 1" or 7/8")
