European-made head cone lock nut which is a spot on replacement for Harley-Davidson 1936-48 big twin models including Knucklehead and big twin flathead U models.  This is an exact reproduction of the original part and will give you a precision fit.  I'm not entirely certain what all years a cadmium finish would be correct.  I do believe the ones on 1936 models may have been nickel and may have also been machined differently and parkerized would have been a correct war era finish.  Please check your own reference material to be certain.  Finish on this is a cad or cad/zinc finish so it does appear a bit bright.  You can lightly bead blast this for a more matte finish if that's what you desire.  We do offer this in parkerized as well on another listing and nickel for 1936 models too.

We do sell black enameled and stainless cone nut lock plates in our store along with a lot of other springer fork parts for 1936-1948 big twins as well as parts for JD, singles, early and late 45's, as well as Servicars.  

These are for 1" fork neck stems, the OD of the "stem" that presses into your frame neck (these are an interference fit, you should heat up the neck and freeze the cups for installation).
