Harley 45150-49 Panhead Cloth Covered Front Brake Coil Cable 1949-50 Only
- Product Code: 294098174032
- Availability: In Stock
You are purchasing one new USA made restoration-correct reproduction cloth covered front brake cable or control coil for 1949 and 1950 Panhead Hydra-Glide twins. To help make sure this will fit your configuration (i.e. hand shift or foot shift) casing length is 44" from end to end, overall length of the inner cable is 68" long. Casing and cable can be trimmed shorter for use. These are hand-made in small batches for perfect accuracy and this is the first time this cable has been reproduced. This is narrower than the 1951-1960 brake cable. We left it a bit longer for those who may want to run their brake on the right and to account for differences between buckhorn and speedster bars.
Trimming these cables down is not difficult and if you have questions we are happy to answer them.
We also stock matching cloth covered brake and clutch booster coil or mousetrap cable for 1952-1960 foot shift models as well as springer brake cables from 1928-1948. We have a huge selection of restoration-correct hardware, electrical, lighting, and detail parts for your classic Panhead. If you don't see what you need here or cimarroncycleworks, just email and ask.
Located at and ships from Cimarron Cycle Works, LLC in beautiful Cimarron, New Mexico, USA!
Used on the following:
- 1949-1950 61" & 74" EL, FL, & FLH OHV model Hydra-Glide
Do note that we do offer one of the largest selections of reproduction hardware and electrical parts for your 1915-1984 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Our offerings keep growing on a weekly basis, please email if you need something you don't see in our eBay store. We are also trying to increase our offerings for K-model and early Sportster owners.
PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate. Your shipping price does include insurance to the destination.
A note on shipping:
Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates. Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction. In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc. I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices. If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges. It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy. I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating. That’s the only way I can solve a problem. I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!
Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing. We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers. Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.
We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings. If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping. We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items. Thank you!
