You are purchasing one set of used offset handlebars as used from 1946-1948 on big twin Knucklehead, UL and Panhead models. These are OEM original bars and are incredibly straight. They have old paint on them, no extra holes, bends, nor scrapes are noted. Bars have vinyl cables installed which are obvious replacements, they have the OEM dimmer switch, horn button is missing but screws are still in the left bar. Throttle and spark internals are present, throttle moves easily, spark advance is bound up a bit in the cable which would be replaced for a restoration anyhow. One windshield or mirror clamp is mounted to the left bar.
Comes with spirals as shown, left spiral appears to have been chrome originally, right possibly was painted or chromed, right bar end nut is missing, spiral is a bit crusty on the outer collar, those collars can be replaced and we do sell those, it's a cosmetic issue only, but you would want to correct it for a perfect restoration. Grips are OEM but mis-matched. Right grip is standard 1935-1948 black springer with Harley-Davidson embossing. Left is a waffle grip, it feels like a 1953-up rubber grip, not the WPB plastic grip. Left bar end nut is in place. There's one CP-1035 clamp bolt present. I will throw in a correct USA reproduction bar end nut and a pair of new parkerized CP-1035 clamp bolts (later production real Chandler Products bolts).for the lucky buyer.
In my opinion, these need to be stripped and re-finished, there are no repairs needed to the bars that I can see.
Overall width is approximately 34 1/2" pull back is approximately 11" from the centerline split on the middle casting (i.e. the casting that clamps to the forks).
Please study the photos and ask questions, I'm happy to take any measurement needed or to supply more photos. Returns are a pain in the rear, so make sure you are satisfied with the information and photos in the listing prior to purchasing, and that you have the correct forks these go with. These will NOT fit 1936-1945 Inline stem forks and will not fit WL or Servicar forks.
Near offers considered, lowballs will be ignored.
These are priced somewhat less than others I've seen needing about the same or more work to get ready for the road.
Shipping is via UPS ground in the lower 48 states, international shipments will have to go through eBay's Global Shipping Program.
